After collaborating with Matt and Sal on Deccom, I joined the team of Unseen Enemy,  an Australian action thriller that combines gritty mafia-style storytelling with a fast, relentless visual rhythm.

The story follows Levi (Salvatore Samperi), a private investigator forced out of isolation when his friend Marissa (Amelia Conway) asks for help finding her missing sister. What begins as a favour unravels into a violent descent through Australia’s criminal underworld, where every punch, chase, and betrayal hits with real weight.

Working under Koji Chan as 1st Assistant Camera and stepping up as 2nd Unit Director of Photography, I helped craft the film’s kinetic pace and raw texture — from handheld tension to tight-framed fight scenes that keep the viewer inside the chaos.

Between setups, I also captured behind-the-scenes footage, documenting how the crew, stunt performers, and cinematographers built each sequence from the ground up. The fight choreography drew from multiple disciplines — Taekwondo, Silat, Kickboxing, Judo, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — giving every confrontation its own rhythm and character.

Unseen Enemy is a reminder of what makes classic action cinema timeless,  practical stunts, physical performances, and a filmmaking team willing to take creative risks for authenticity. It’s fast, brutal, and unapologetically hands-on.
